In the 6 months after Trumps Election, a handful of students from the Black Student Union, Queer SVA, Feminists United, International Club and faculty members joined together to respond to political bigotry in our country and our community. We met once a week to discuss current events, offer support, and brainstorm how to be politically minded artists. We met with other faculty in the library and history departments to learn more about the state of the world and how we can participate better.
I would animate weekly notifications of events happening that the student coalition would attend.
